Grants
Project SCALES helps school food authorities to build resilient local food systems that reflect the unique abundance of their communities.
We will be issuing more than $10 million in grants over the next five years. Grants will fund projects that involve partnerships among school food authorities, growers, producers, processors, distributors, and other organizations in the school food system.
Cohort One:
Rural Districts
Our first round of grants supports the efforts of rural districts and charter schools.
Cohort Two:
Applications Open Soon
In fall 2024, we will open applications for our second round of funding, which will be available to all districts and charter schools, including those in urban and suburban areas.
