Project SCALES is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture through a cooperative agreement with the Center for School and Community Partnerships (CSCP) at Boise State University. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which CSCP collects, uses, maintains and discloses information about users of our website located at http://projectscales.com (hereafter, “this website”).

Types of information that we collect on the linked grant application portal
This website has a link to the grant application portal for Project SCALES. On that linked site, users are asked to create a password-protected user account to submit their application materials. This section describes the information collected through the linked application portal.
Personally identifiable information
CSCP collects personally identifiable information, including names and email addresses, from users who voluntarily provide such information to us by registering for an account on the application portal. The application portal requests information about your school district. The budget section of the application includes financial information such as salaries for project personnel. The only individuals who have access to grant application materials are the Project SCALES administrative team, the professionals that we will retain to serve as application reviewers, and the administrators at the United States Department of Agriculture. Application materials will be stored securely with password-protected access only to authorized users. Application materials will not be shared with any parties other than those necessary for the review and grantee selection process. How long we retain your data
For users that create a profile (a registration) on the linked application portal, we will store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Other visitors can not see that personal information, but the website administrators can see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you set up an account on the linked application portal, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Act
No part of this website is structured to attract visits from individuals under the age of 13. CSCP is unable to assess the age of users to this website, but if we become aware of having information about anyone under the age of 13 having visited the site or the application portal, CSCP will promptly delete the information.
